The position will report to the Vice President of Operations and be in the corporate office in Dallas, Texas. This a new position that will provide a great opportunity for the right candidate. As an accomplished web developer, you will be responsible for the oversight of a team of remote developers. This will include obtaining user requirements, writing development tickets and supporting the testing and implementation process. As the development leader, you will establish processes, goals and objectives and ensure a superior customer experience for users. Key roles and responsibilities: Supports the IT development process and manages the process from requirements definition through to UAT and launch including user training. Takes on application development directly, as required; may co-develop with web development resources. Manages and maintains the IT section of the intranet website and additional functional areas. Identifies needed features and usability improvements for the external and internal pages of the company website. Primary administrator of all web server instances and Reporting Tool (SQL). Required Education: . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Required Experience, Skills and Abilities: . Minimum of 2 years in a lead web development role out of 4 years total of web development experience. . Demonstrated ability to interactively gather user requirements and capture the requirements in written form for developers. . A strong leader and proactive by nature. . Strong written and verbal communications skills. Experienced Python development programmer; intermediate level competency with demonstrable ability to learn new languages quickly. . Knowledgeable in LINUX server applications. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and react well under pressure. . Demonstrated ability to learn tools and technology quickly. .
