Job DescriptionServient, a software product company, is looking for Core Java Developers with strong fundamentals of Data structures and Algorithms to add to our development team. The candidate should have a flair for modular, minimalist and reusable design practices. Prior experience with a product company would be a plus. What do we offer?At Servient, you will be involved in designing and developing elegant and minimalist solutions for complex business problems using the Hadoop data environment, Solr, Spark and advanced machine learning, all built on AWS cloud systems. Required Experience:​- 3+ years of OOP development, at least some of which should be Java Preferred Experience:- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.- Experience working with Eclipse for Java development.- Experience with SVN (preferably with Eclipse plugins).- Experience with data and/or file manipulation, I/O, metadata handling, and other Big Data issues.- Experience or exposure to J2EE, JAVA, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, XML, JSP, JBOSS Application Servers.- Exposure to AWS, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, SOLR, Spark and Lucene.- Significant experience with multi-threading in Java is a plus. Education:BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with a master's degree highly preferred.
